About Us

My name is Muriel, and I am the founder of Grand Gallop®, a registered equestrian brand created to make saddle transport easier, more comfortable, and more protective.

I am originally from France and have been riding since I was young. When I moved to the United States, I noticed that there were very few practical solutions for carrying an English saddle. In Europe, saddle carrier bags are very common because they allow riders to travel between lessons, barns, shows, and tack rooms while keeping their hands free and protecting their saddle at the same time.

I first designed the Grand Gallop Saddle Carrier Backpack for my own personal use. I wanted something stronger, more comfortable, and more protective than the saddle bags I had known in France. I carefully improved the concept by choosing high-quality, durable materials and adding practical features such as a supportive hip belt, padded backpack straps, a protective fleece lining, a water-resistant outer shell and a heavy-duty zipper.

My goal was to create a saddle carrier that is both elegant and truly useful for riders. I personally use mine all the time, and I could not be happier with it. It has become an incredibly useful part of my riding life, and I am truly proud of what this product brings to riders.
